We rebuilt Spade Kreations from a limiting Wix placeholder into a high-performance Next.js website
A 12-week migration that delivered perfect Lighthouse scores and a scalable foundation for future automotive brand growth.

Spade Kreations came to us with an existing Wix site that offered little content, weak SEO foundations, and the technical constraints of a proprietary platform. We rebuilt the experience as a modern Next.js application, giving the brand code ownership, dramatically stronger technical performance, and a 610-page architecture ready for content, search visibility, and conversion growth.

Challenges & Solutions
What stood in the way, and how we cleared it.
Wix locked the client into a proprietary platform with no real code ownership
Their previous Wix site left Spade Kreations dependent on a closed ecosystem for hosting, editing, and future development. That made the website harder to evolve and limited long-term flexibility.
We migrated the site to a custom Next.js codebase, giving the client a modern React architecture with full ownership and a future-ready development foundation.
Heavy JavaScript bundles on Wix created a poor performance ceiling
Wix's typical 3-5MB JavaScript overhead made it difficult to achieve elite performance, especially on mobile connections and content-heavy experiences.
We rebuilt the frontend in Next.js using route-based code splitting, optimized asset delivery, and a leaner rendering strategy.
The old site had almost no crawlable content or SEO control
The existing experience functioned more like a placeholder than a marketing site. It lacked visible value proposition messaging, structured content, and the SEO controls needed to support search growth.
We restructured the site around crawlable page architecture, metadata control, and a scalable content framework built for server-side and static rendering.
Wix limited advanced integrations and custom server logic
The previous platform made it difficult to implement custom workflows, advanced APIs, and future business logic without working around platform constraints.
We moved the project to Next.js with support for API routes, modern deployment workflows, and custom application behavior.
Our Strategy
A phased approach to delivering measurable results.
Platform audit and migration planning
We began by evaluating the limitations of the existing Wix site, identifying performance bottlenecks, content gaps, and SEO weaknesses. From there, we mapped a migration plan that preserved the existing domain presence while replacing the underlying platform with a custom Next.js build.
- Wix platform audit
- Migration roadmap
- Page inventory
- Technical requirements document
Information architecture and content framework
Because the original site lacked meaningful structure, we designed a new page system that could support growth rather than just replicate a placeholder. We organized the site around a scalable architecture built to handle hundreds of pages cleanly.
- Site map
- Navigation structure
- Page template strategy
- SEO content framework
Custom Next.js design and development
We rebuilt the website as a modern Next.js application using React, focusing on speed, maintainability, and flexibility. We implemented optimized rendering, reusable components, and a codebase structured for future iteration.
- Custom Next.js frontend
- Reusable React component library
- Responsive layouts
- Performance-first build system
Technical SEO and quality assurance
We paired development with technical SEO implementation, accessibility checks, and production QA to ensure the new experience launched on a stronger foundation than the previous site ever had.
- Metadata implementation
- Technical SEO setup
- Accessibility review
- Cross-device QA
Launch and post-launch foundation
We launched the rebuilt site with a clean deployment process and a structure designed for future indexing, content growth, and conversion improvements. The result was not just a redesign, but a platform upgrade.
- Production deployment
- Launch checklist
- Performance validation
- Growth-ready page architecture
Results
Measurable outcomes that speak for themselves.
Perfect performance audit at launch
We replaced Wix's heavier frontend overhead with a leaner Next.js build and delivered a top-tier live performance result.
MeasuredLarge-scale page architecture delivered
Rather than launching a minimal placeholder again, we gave Spade Kreations a substantial site structure capable of supporting future content, SEO targeting, and business expansion.
MeasuredFaster rendering potential than the previous platform
By moving from Wix to Next.js with SSR, SSG, and route-based code splitting, we created a significantly more efficient delivery model than the client's prior setup.
EstimatedPerformance

Site Architecture
610 pages structured across 16 content categories with 26,035 words of content.
Tech Stack
The technologies and tools powering this project.
We used Next.js to replace Wix with a modern framework that supports SSR, SSG, route-based code splitting, and long-term scalability.
We built the interface in React to create reusable components and a maintainable frontend architecture.
We used modern JavaScript to power the application's interactive behavior and component logic.
We structured the site with semantic HTML to support accessibility, SEO, and clean content hierarchy.
We used modern CSS to create responsive layouts, visual consistency, and polished presentation across devices.
We used Lighthouse to validate performance, SEO, accessibility, and best-practices quality before and after launch.
