We bill against it at $150 an hour whenever we touch your project, for any reason, and send you a monthly report on what we did. Updates, fixes, content changes and speed work all come out of it, and each month's report shows what's left. Retainer clients go first, with emergency support from 8am to 11pm Eastern, 7 days a week. We'll suggest a deposit size based on your site and how much you expect to change it.

Yes, as long as it isn't on WordPress. We take over maintenance for sites built elsewhere all the time: core and dependency updates ship within 48 hours, alongside daily malware scans and security hardening. We don't maintain WordPress or work on its plugins and themes, so if your site runs on it, we'll move you off it instead. Tell us about your site and we'll usually reply within a couple of hours.

Yes. Content updates come out of your retainer like any other work, so a busy month can use as many hours as it needs. The monthly summary shows every one of them.
