We rebuilt Chapel View from a blank Wix presence into a high-performance Next.js website
A 4-week migration focused on speed, crawlability, accessibility, and a stronger booking-ready user experience.

Chapel View came to us with an existing Wix site that offered little visible content, weak SEO foundations, and limited flexibility for growth. We redesigned and rebuilt the site in Next.js, delivering a fast, accessible, search-ready web presence with perfect or near-perfect Lighthouse scores across every major category.

Challenges & Solutions
What stood in the way, and how we cleared it.
Wix limited crawlability and SEO control
The previous Wix site showed no visible headings, no meta description, and no crawlable value proposition in the available output. Combined with Wix's limited server-side rendering control and constrained technical SEO tooling, the site lacked a strong foundation for indexing and search growth.
We rebuilt the site in Next.js with server-rendered and statically generated pages, implemented structured metadata, created a clear heading hierarchy, and prepared the site for sitemap, robots, canonical, and schema-driven SEO.
Heavy Wix architecture created unnecessary performance overhead
Wix's proprietary stack often ships heavy JavaScript bundles in the 3-5MB range, which can slow rendering, delay interactivity, and make optimization difficult. That overhead was especially problematic for a site that needed strong first impressions and fast mobile delivery.
We migrated Chapel View to Next.js and used route-based code splitting, optimized asset delivery, lean component architecture, and modern rendering patterns to reduce front-end overhead.
The previous site had no meaningful conversion path
The analyzed site output exposed no clear service messaging, trust signals, or visible calls to action. Visitors had no obvious next step, which weakened the site's ability to support inquiries or bookings.
We restructured the experience around a clear hero section, guided navigation, service and gallery content, trust-building sections, and contact-focused CTAs designed around tour and inquiry intent.
Wix created long-term ownership and integration constraints
The client was locked into a proprietary platform with limited code ownership, restricted hosting flexibility, and less freedom to implement custom server logic or deeper integrations over time.
We moved the project to a custom Next.js codebase, giving Chapel View full control over its application architecture, deployment options, future integrations, and ongoing scalability.
Our Strategy
A phased approach to delivering measurable results.
Platform Audit & Migration Planning
We assessed the limitations of the existing Wix site, identified gaps in content visibility and SEO readiness, and mapped the project into a structured Next.js rebuild plan.
- Wix limitations audit
- Migration roadmap
- Information architecture for 13 pages
- SEO and performance requirements
Content & Conversion Architecture
Because the original site lacked clear messaging and calls to action, we redefined the page structure around clarity, trust, and inquiry generation.
- Homepage content hierarchy
- CTA strategy
- Navigation and footer structure
- Recommended sections for services, gallery, FAQ, and contact
UI Design System
We designed a polished interface that balanced credibility and warmth, using the existing brand color as a foundation and extending it into a more premium visual system.
- Responsive page designs
- Color system
- Typography system
- Component patterns for cards, forms, CTAs, and content sections
Next.js Development
We built the site as a modern Next.js application with clean components, optimized rendering, and a scalable codebase that removed the constraints of the previous platform.
- Next.js front end
- React component library
- Responsive layouts
- Optimized images and asset loading
- Production-ready deployment build
Technical SEO, QA & Launch
Before launch, we validated the site for performance, accessibility, best practices, and search readiness to ensure the rebuild delivered measurable quality, not just a visual refresh.
- Metadata implementation
- Semantic heading structure
- Accessibility QA
- Lighthouse optimization
- Launch support
Results
Measurable outcomes that speak for themselves.
Near-perfect technical SEO foundation
We replaced an effectively non-descriptive web presence with a crawlable, metadata-ready site architecture built for discoverability.
MeasuredAccessibility built in from launch
We implemented semantic structure, usable contrast, and accessible interaction patterns to ensure the site worked well for more users from day one.
MeasuredModern best-practice implementation
The rebuild met current standards for secure, reliable, production-grade front-end delivery.
MeasuredComplete site architecture delivered in 4 weeks
We took Chapel View from a constrained Wix setup to a fully rebuilt 13-page Next.js site on a tight timeline without sacrificing quality.
MeasuredPerformance
Desktop Lighthouse, measured September 7, 2026.
Site Architecture
13 pages structured across 2 content categories.
Tech Stack
The technologies and tools powering this project.
We used Next.js to replace Wix with a faster, SEO-friendly architecture that supports server-side rendering, static generation, and scalable growth.
We built the interface in React to create reusable, maintainable components across the 13-page site.
We used modern JavaScript to power interactive UI behavior and application logic.
We used semantic HTML to improve accessibility, structure content clearly, and strengthen SEO signals.
We crafted a responsive visual system with modern CSS for layout, spacing, typography, and mobile adaptation.
We used Lighthouse auditing to validate performance, SEO, accessibility, and best-practice outcomes before and after launch.
We prepared the site for structured data implementation to improve search understanding and rich result eligibility.
